Meet Our Winemakers
Grant believes the secret to good winemaking begins with sourcing grapes from the best vineyards in California. Most of the growers have been friends for many years. His passion for wine began while studying abroad and has continued throughout his life. Grant’s main passion (besides Donna) is for the wines of Bordeaux, Spain, Portugal, and Chardonnay grapes from the Santa Cruz Mountains.
Grant’s knowledge of grapes and winemaking coupled with blending trials that rely greatly on Donna’s palate produce wines of exceptional quality.
We surround ourselves with the love of family, friends….and of course….great wines!
Our Family of Wines
HWY 9 produces several unique wines.
Each wine has its own distinctive and unique flavor profile.
We are involved in every stage of the wine making process from grape selection, harvesting, crushing, barrel selection, fermentation, aging, and bottling. The result is a limited quantity of high-quality wines from our boutique winery. Great grapes, great wine, great times!
